Harsh Patel

President/CEO & Co-Owner

Harsh Patel, has served as Chief Executive Officer of BH Hospitality Management since its inception in 2015. In this capacity, he has supervised the development and operation of multiple hotels located across Texas. He brings a level of excellence relating to the hotel industry such as market analysis, operations and financial management, and marketing. Under his leadership as president and CEO, BH Hospitality Management holds a growing portfolio of Hilton-affiliated properties as well as others. Mr. Patel, a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, obtained a degree in Accounting in 2011 and has utilized his knowledge to produce and manage award winning and profitable hotels.

Birju "BJ" Patel

Vice President/CFO & Co-Owner

Like the CEO, BJ is the co-owner of BH Hospitality Management, and is responsible for all land acquisitions, franchise agreements, design and development of all the hotels with the portfolio. He brings a level of excellence, and a keen eye in identifying new, exciting and successful markets. His aggressive forward thinking has been an integral part of the success of BH Hospitality Management and each of its hotels. Always, ensuring each property receives the best quality product, BJ has produced a remarkable formula for success and creates properties the employees can be proud and the guests truly appreciate.

Al Mata

Sr. Vice President of Operations

Al Mata is the Director of Operations for BH Hospitality. He is responsible for driving revenue growth, forecasting, and cost controls as well as profitability improvement, guest satisfaction, and team member career development. Al’s beliefs in humility, Integrity and loyalty have helped shaped his professional career. Since starting in hospitality in 2006, Al immediately fell in love with the hotel industry. His competitive nature and tireless work-ethic proved to be contagious as his hotels have won multiple awards throughout the years. With 12 years of experience he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and building teams that help shape each hotel to success. He has a proven track record in revenue management, budgeting, and forecasting, and has demonstrated an aptitude for successfully motivating and managing teams, resources and networks. As a goal-oriented individual he strives to lead the operations team to deliver revenue growth and guest satisfaction in the central region of Texas. He currently oversees San Antonio & South Texas, with many new developments in the near future. As former Director of Sales & General Manager, we believe with his quick-witted personality and knowledge of the industry Al will help lead BH Hospitality for years to come.

Sandeep Neeli

Vice President of Operations/IT

In an ever changing world of Technology, Sandeep has positioned himself as invaluable. Sandeep holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering as well as, a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Computer Science, Business Management and Psychology from Stephen F. Austin Sate University. In his role as VP of Operations & Information Technology, Sandeep has been an integral part in laying the foundation and structure of BH Hospitality Management’s accounting, tracking, and communications across many hotels and also responsible for overall planning and execution of all hotel operations and IT functions. Always bringing new innovations to the table, Sandeep keeps this company on the cutting edge and finding ways to prove upon an already outstanding Technological system.

Doris Clarillos

Vice President of Revenue Management

Doris Clarillos is the Revenue Manager for BH Hospitality. In her role as Revenue Manager, she provides rate & inventory analysis for multiple properties, and expertise needed to fully maximize revenue, profit, and market shares. She works alongside numerous hotels in our growing portfolio to provide strategic methods to effectively manage inventory that focuses on revenue growth, performance, and profits. She is a devoted servant leader and strives to live by that philosophy - leading the team to help accomplish goals needed to succeed, while helping people develop and perform as highly as possible. Doris received her B.S. from Arizona State University in Tourism Development and Management with certificates in Event Planning, Convention Sales and Meeting Planning. Always seeking to learn and grow, professionally and personally, she is currently pursuing her M.B.A and Masters in Leadership. Doris has shown she has the ability to adapt to different markets and still be successful throughout her sales career. Having strong values and dedicated work ethics she will produce highly profitable hotels in our portfolio.

Ilene Valencia

Revenue Coordinator

Ilene is the Revenue Coordinator for BH Hospitality Management. She assists in the management of rooms inventory to maximize rooms revenue as well as working with the VP of revenue to help monitor transient and group inventory. Ilene has her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and has practiced as a nurse for 6 years, with the majority of her career being travel nursing. Her time management skills, attention to detail, and her ability to adapt, have transcended into her position as the Revenue Coordinator.

Rashesh B Rangrej

Senior Financial Admin

Mr. Rangrej immigrated to the United States, furthering his education with a Master’s in business administration from the Institute of Psychotherapy and Management, Mumbai, India, Earned in India in 2002. Later in that same year, he graduated with a Ph.D. in finance management. In addition to these academic accomplishments, Mr. Rangrej garnered certifications as a Certified Hotel administrator from the American Hotel & Motel Association, a system engineer from Microsoft and in community minority business advancement from the University of Texas at Austin. He also has earned Certification in Community Minority Business Advancement (CMBA), University of Texas - Austin; Certification in Marketing of Hospitality Services; Certification in Housekeeping Management; Certified Microsoft System Engineer. He is also Author of Book Named “ Key to Success Hospitality Empire”. Mr. Rangrej has excelled in the hospitality Industries with various hotel chains from Economy to upscale brand which have operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Honduras and also found success for seven years as a partner at Rave Gears and Machining, a manufacturing company based in Seguin, Texas. Mr. Rangrej has accrued many honors during his career, including recognition as the Outstanding General Manager of the Year from the American Hotel and Lodging Association in 2001 and the Small Business Leadership Achievement Award from the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in 2013 as wells as Housekeeping Supervisor of the Quarter, Harrah’s Casino, Atlantic City, NJ in 1989. He got to where he currently is because of his perseverance, independence, and self-discipline. He became involved in the accounting & Payroll industry because he loves numbers. He likes to solve problems and love Challenges. According to him, he can leave the business to his employees but he doesn't know where he stands and so he likes to manage everything by himself. He's very hands-on when it comes to business handling

Neeta Patel

Senior Controller/HR

Mrs. Patel has become an invaluable asset to BH Hospitality Management, bringing over 20 years of hospitality accounting experience. Her dedication and her attention to detail are unprecedented and has maintained such professional bookkeeping throughout the years that would make any CPA jump for joy. Starting out in this position in 1994, Mrs. Patel has been an integral parts of organizing line item tracking and profit analysis for the company. Additionally, she has played a major role in establishing, implementing and maintaining new and innovative methods of accounting, always staying on top of the latest technology and software systems available, ensuring BH Hospitality stays on the cutting edge of success.

Sam Patel

Director of Supply Management/Payroll Admin

Sam Patel is The Director of Ordering & Inventory. He comes to BH Hospitality with an extensive background in cost control and inventory management. With over 30 years of experience that ranges from The Restaurant industry to The Hospitality industry. Sam is responsible for ordering all materials, supplies and goods for all of The BH properties. Sam beliefs in mentoring and spreading his knowledge with others will play a large role in our success.

Neel Patel

Director of Operations

Neel Patel has Joined BH Hospitality Management in May 2021. Since then, he has shown tremendous performance from General Manager to Director of Operations. As director of operations, Neel supports hotels leadership with operations of several properties in the company’s Portfolio. He maintains daily oversight of the hotels including hotel compliance, cost controls, budgetary guidelines and guest service performance. Neel has expertise in Team building, Collaboration and People management. Neel has his Master of Business Administration from California Lutheran University and a Second master’s in information technology management from Campbellsville University Kentucky.

Austin Middleton

Regional Engineer

Austin Middleton born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, joined the BH Hospitality team spring 2021 as our Regional Engineer. He oversees San Antonio and South Texas hotels, and plays an essential role in advising the maintenance staff by directing them how to accomplish the engineering functions at each hotel under his supervision. He works alongside the corporate team and property managers to assist in maintenance contracts for the hotels and the upkeep of property grounds. He brings years of experience through shared knowledge of past mentors. Austin believes in working alongside this team and sharing his how-to’s he has acquired along the years to help his fellow maintenance engineers grow. We are lucky to have him on the team; his bright smile and infectious positive attitude has proven to be invaluable.

Dorie Davila

Executive Assistant to Harsh Patel

Dorie Davila has dedicated her life to the hotel hospitality industry. Energized by challenges and driven by an authentic desire to succeed in her career has been broad and diverse. Her experience includes years of humble and leadership roles, in many hotels. Dorie applies perspective and insight to managing properties from the inside out, an approach that is consistently successful in producing top-notch operational and financial results. In recent years, as a partner of a full-service hospitality payroll and accounting firm, Dorie's experience includes Accounting. She helps track, analyze, and report on the financial aspect of businesses, and organizations. She performs essential tasks such as preparing financial statements and taxes, analyzing financial data, and making financial recommendations. She also helps clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, stays up-to-date on changes in tax laws and accounting and payroll standards.

Bharat Patel

Director of Facilities

With a background in engineering and property development, Bharat Patel; affectionately known as Mr. B, joins our team with over 30 years of experience in development and construction and 14 years of hotel management under his belt. From day-to-day operations managing hotels, to overseeing new hotel development, Mr. B has proven time and time again that his expertise is crucial to our team. His contributions have helped several hotels win prestigious awards from Hilton Wall of Fame, Trip Advisor, Booking.com, Hotels.com, and AAA Diamond. He continues his long career with BH Hospitality Management as our Director of Facilities ensuring the properties compliance with ADA policies, workforce safety, and overall property condition. Mr. B’s wealth of expertise in the industry truly proves he is an asset to our expanding team.

Esther Martinez

Human Resources

Esther received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston-Victoria with a major in Psychology. Her professional career has been in Human Resources Management, having worked in HR for over 35 years as a Generalist. Most of those years have been in the medical field in a hospital setting, educational setting, as well as the oil field industry. In her free time Esther enjoys country living, volunteering as the Vice President of the Pettus Volunteer Group. We are glad Esther has join BH Hospitality Management as she will be an asset to our team.
